Jeremy Houghtaling

Jeremy is a senior here at OSU and is one of the newest reporters on staff after joining us Spring quarter ‘05. Jeremy is a Sociology major but will be the first to say “I have no idea what I’m going to do with a Soc degree after college, music is my thing.”
Prior to joining the almighty force, known as Buckeye TV, Jeremy was a marketing intern for Newport Music Hall and Promowest Pavilion. He has also done promotional work for The Verso Group, a large entertainment promoter in Northwest Ohio.
Jeremy has met or worked with the likes of Slipknot, Deftones, comedian Stephen Lynch, Glassjaw, Unwritten Law, Coheed and Cambria, Premonitions of War, and the list goes on. You can catch Jeremy on Music On Campus on a weekly basis. He has co-hosted Music on Campus in the past, and is usually on the program giving you you’re weekly concert run down. He also is becoming a fast contributor to out music reviews section. Check out more of his work there.
Jeremy listens to mostly heavy metal but doesn’t discriminate on other genres of music. Some of his favorite bands include the Deftones, The Mars Volta and local Toledo act Mindshift. When he’s not working for the station or attending class you can find him, well, you probably can’t find him.
